If you pay Lingopie by card, cancel on the website under Account, Plan, Update Membership; if you pay through Apple, Google Play or PayPal, cancel there. Lingopie generally does not refund unused time, but it does refund mistaken charges and billing errors if you email support within 14 days.
Checked October 2026 · Lingopie price: €12.99/mo; 3 months €38.97; annual €77.94 (standard €155.88); lifetime €219; 7-day free trial (checked 2026-10-09 (lingopie.com/pricing))
If you pay by card on the website
Lingopie's help centre gives these steps. Sign in and go to your profile, then Settings, Account (or lingopie.com/app/account). Under Plan, click Update Membership and choose Cancel Subscription. Future payments stop and you keep full access to the end of the billing period you paid for.
If you pay through Apple, Google Play or PayPal
Lingopie cannot cancel these for you. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, Lingopie, Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Lingopie. For PayPal, cancel the automatic payment in your PayPal settings. Deleting the app does not cancel any of them.
Cancelling the free trial
The trial lasts 7 days and you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before. Lingopie's help centre says trial cancellation is only available on the website, not in the app: go to lingopie.com/app/account, check Account Status for the days left, then Update Membership and cancel. You keep the remaining trial days. If you started the trial through Apple or Google, cancel it in that store.
Refunds
Lingopie says it generally does not refund unused time. The exceptions are a charge after you cancelled during the trial, and billing errors such as a wrong amount or a duplicate charge. For card payments, email support@lingopie.com within 14 days; it says processing takes 2 to 3 business days, plus up to 10 days at your bank. Apple and Google purchases are refunded by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play.
