About FluentU
FluentU teaches with real French video, such as film scenes, TV clips and music videos, each with interactive subtitles and quizzes on the words you meet. A Chrome extension adds the same subtitles to Netflix and YouTube, and there are beginner courses with original content. It is a subscription after a 14-day free trial. It suits a learner who likes video and wants authentic French with support. Short clips are not the same as following a whole conversation, and it is not cheap.
