About Drops
Drops is a vocabulary game: five-minute sessions of tapping and swiping words matched to simple pictures, with spaced repetition behind it. French is one of more than 55 languages. There is a free version, and Premium costs $11 a month, $69.99 a year or $150 for lifetime. It suits a beginner who wants to build a first few hundred words in spare minutes. It teaches no grammar and almost no sentences, so it is a supplement to a course, never the course.
