About Anki
Anki is a free, open-source flashcard program that uses spaced repetition to show each card just before you would forget it, with free syncing across devices. The computer version and AnkiDroid are free; AnkiMobile for iPhone is a one-off $24.99 that funds development. It suits a disciplined learner at any level who wants to keep the words they meet. It teaches nothing by itself: you need cards from somewhere, and it is ugly and fiddly to set up.
